A four-pole, lowpass VCF integrated circuit, produced by SSM in the late 1970s and 1980s. It was widely used in polyphonic synths of that era, including the Rev 1 and 2 versions of the Prophet-5, the Crumar Bit-01 series, the Korg Polysix, the PPG Wave 2.2 and 2.3; the Voyetra-8, and some versions of the Fairlight CMI. This IC is rare now, but can still be found, although it should be reserved for repairing vintage synths.
