One of several models of integrated circuit that Curtis Electromusic produced in the latter half of the 1980s, which incorporated various combinations of VCF and VCA functions. The idea was that the 3372, and similar parts, could make up the bulk of a basic voice circuit design for a polyphonic synth. The 3372 contained a two-input, voltage controlled mixer, a four-pole lowpass VCF, and a VCA on the output. Similar parts produced by Curtis included the 3378, 3379, and 3389. Among the synths that used the 3372 was the Akai AX-80.

The 3379 is used in the Doepfer A-122 24db/octave low pass filter.
