UK-based manufacturer of synth and pro audio equipment, operated by Graham Hinton, who worked as a designer for Solid State Logic in the 1980s. Hinton Instruments offers a few modules in 3U Eurocard format, mostly focusing on signal routing and switching. A notable product is a 32x32, fully buffered pin matrix. A full configuration consists of four 8-channel input modules, four 8-channel output modules, a metering module, and the actual pin matrix, which is the height of two standard 3U modules.

Hinton's pro audio products include microphone amplifiers, cables and looms, and MIDI processing equipment. The company also publishes modifications and service info for EMS synths.
